Can I keep my old number?
YES! whether you go for a contract, a prepay handset or a sim only you will always be able to keep your existing number. Once you have received you new sim card all you need to do is call customer services for your current provider and let them know you want to port your number over to a new sim card. You will be provided with a PAC code (Port Authorisation Code) which you need to give to your new provider. This will normally be completed in a couple of days allowing you to use your current sim card up until the changeover. If you are currently using vodafone or moving to vodafone customers are advised to call vodafone customer services for latest advice on number porting BEFORE purchase.
